Lately a so called news outlet - assenna.com - an offspring of asmarino.com (even the look those 2 websites is similar) has dropped another desperate bombshell: the PIA has 1 billion of dollars to dispose. What a news. Does it means that all attempts to bankrupt the country have failed!!! And did you notice when he stated …” an assenna associate” Woow impressive…Assenna has an associate worthy of mentioning.
It is not lost on everyone that this latest attempt of denigrating the GoE is conducted in parallel with the failed attempt to deprive Eritrea of EU development aid.. THAT FAILED!
The same media disinformation was conducted at the dying era of the Bush administration with the help from our brothers from the south (Ethiopia and Jendaye Frazer ) when it was claimed that there were Iran submarines in the waters of Eritrea...another attempt to isolate Eritrea and to put her on the terrorist list. THAT FAILED ALSO!
There were another attempt (remember that one ?) to further isolate Eritrea from the rest of the World : the 2000 Eritreans soldiers in Somalia ? Remember that one…vetted and disseminated by the UN monitoring group. THAT FAILED MISERABLY ALSO!
What next ? Accusing Eritrea of child slavery or building an atomic bomb?
In light of Mesfin Hagos’s resignation, one cannot help it but noticing the desperation of the so called oppostion....and those media outlets…
But then again, since they cannot get a real job in the real world, maybe this is what they are left with ….running tabloid-like news outlets.
