The award winning feature-length documentary, A Walk to Beautiful, tells the
stories of five Ethiopian women who suffer from devastating childbirth
injuries. Rejected by their husbands and ostracized by their communities as
a result, they are forced to live out their lives in loneliness and shame.
They make the difficult decision to take the long and arduous journey to the
Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital, searching for a cure, and a new life. These
brave women embark on a journey to reclaim their lost dignity. The trials
they endure - and their struggles to rebuild their lives - tell a universal
story of hope, courage, and transformation.
