All of us are looking forward to the world-wide mass demonstrations to be held
on Feb. 22nd, 2010.
I
would like to add one suggestion to help amplify our cause.
1
Let us have a truck carrying a screen on which the various video documents of
UN transgression on our rights and freedom accompanied by the latest video of
Bereket Mengisteab’s song regarding the sanctions are projected lead the
procession;

Following the screen will be the masses carrying huge posters with various
messages concerning our cause;
3
Slogans and other peaceful activities could be injected in the middle.
I
think the content of the video would highlight our cause and also be educating
to those who know nothing not even the name ERITREA and our cause.
In
addition, I think a super peaceful demonstration should be planned for the
Summer 2010 in front of the UN in New York at a time when a UN session involving all
nations is underway. Participants could come from all over the world carrying posters in the language of the nation they came from and indicating their
origin--Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, Canada and the USA. Let
us tell the world that Ibrahim Sultan and his compatriots and their yet
unsolved cause are not forgotten and that their voice will not remain unheard.
