Selam tedehayti,
It has been some time since religious war has been waged by fanatics in the name of " Christianity " . I came across the following web site article and I thought there is lesson to be learned and note to be taken.

Church Planting Movements are a chain reaction of churches planting churches as they feed on the energy of a continuous stream of disciples making disciples. This happens when each new believer is trained from the beginning to immediately obey the Word of God and to repeat the process with others.
When churches are allowed to grow and develop naturally without any extra, Biblical requirements imposed by outsiders on what to do and how to do it, then reproduction can happen quickly and movements can sweep through areas where anything foreign would be rejected.
The church planters who launch these movements are a radically new kind of spiritual leadership in Africa. They are men and women with a passion for God and an unwavering commitment to the Great Commission
The Hope of Africa
God has placed a deep love of Africa within our hearts. But our hearts have been broken as Africa slowly bleeds from a thousand cruel wounds. Horrific wars, devastating poverty, crippling disease, brutal dictatorships, and the scars of colonialism have for generations been sucking the lifeblood out of Africa. Senseless local and national conflicts repeatedly drain the economic and social life from struggling communities. Sub-Saharan Africa has the lowest standard of living, the highest death rates in childbirth and the lowest life expectancy of any major region of the world.
Unfortunately, it is not just the physical problems that are plaguing Africa. Islam is exploding and has openly declared their goal to make Africa the first Muslim continent. Arab nations are pouring in billions of dollars to make that happen. Nowhere is the impact of these factors felt more powerfully than in the Horn of Africa which lies directly adjacent to the Middle East on what is the spiritual "fault line" of a continual Muslim-Christian conflict in Africa.
The problems seem so big, so complex, and have lasted for so long, a fair question would be, "Is there any hope for Africa?" The answer is a resounding "Yes", but the answer isn't coming from where most people expect it. For too long many have thought that the West carried the answer to the problems wreaking havoc in Africa.
The solution was thought to be more international aid, more missionaries, and more Western management and control. But the hope of Africa is not coming from the outside in, it is flowing from the inside out! The Hope of Africa is in the Harvest!
Restoration and transformation are sweeping through the Horn of Africa as God unlocks His "miracle of multiplication" creating new generations within the spiritual harvest. The seeds are becoming the sowers, disciples are making disciples, churches are planting churches, and leaders rise up and train other leaders.
This is not just theory or wishful thinking. We have seen it! In the last six years the Horn of Africa Mission has seen God raise up thousands of new churches with tens of thousands of new believers! Each of these new churches becomes an epicenter of change and reproduction. As the believers multiply and their values and behavior change, real transformation is taking place for families and communities and that brings realistic hope for nations and the continent.
We believe the hope of Africa is in the harvest and that the harvest today is the answer for tomorrow!
