Dear friends,
Spring is on the way. It a season of the poets and poetesses who love the hand made of God or nature. Today, I saw the movie "Rapunzel" whose actors are human robots and animals such as chameleons and frogs. For a hard-of-hearing like me, it is difficult to follow their speeches. For their distorted facial expressions and the movement of their beaks devoid of lips don't match with background of human speeches. The face is the door of our soul or as the Tigrigna proverb goes kab ftftu fitu. Oh how confused and manipulated generation we are! This is is an idyllic poem signifying our present predicament in a world where a vivid human interaction is lost due to computer technology.
I am the great paper reader
I am the greater face reader
I am the greatest lip reader
But I am neither the brail reader
Nor the beak reader
Of talking-duck
In the movie screen
Whose background talker
Cannot be seen.
