A three day Eritrean festival concluded Sunday in Washington DC. Minister of economic development and economic adviser of the president, Dr.Welday Fitur, addresses thousands of participants about the socio-economic status of the country. He said Eritrea will eventually prevail from the "unjust sanction" imposed by UN. "Assume the issue with Djibouti is solved ", he said " but there will be no peace in the horn unless Ethiopia withdrew from the occupied Eritrean territory.
On the economic development, he said "Eritrea is free of aid dependency", but the "economic out put is far less than planned".
The festival highlighted exhibitions, talent shows, fashion shows, business expo and seminars. Eriam Sisters music show was the most noticeable of the music shows in Saturday night.
