Eritrea produces industrial minerals and construction materials which include basalt, cement, common clay, coral, granite, gravel, gypsum, kaolin, lime, limestone, marble, pumice, quartz, salt, sand, and silica sand. She also has deposits of gold, barite, chromium, copper, feldspar, iron ore, lead, magnesium, nickel, potash, silver, talc, and zinc.
