In addition to shuttling in and out of Ethiopia to participate in various Weyane-sponsored and directed conferences, it's been clear for sometime that the so-called opposition groups have been taking directions and orders from Weyane cadres aimed at disrupting and fracturing the unity and harmony of the Eritrean people. It's an open secret that Weyane and its rich benefactors through their NGOs have been subsidizing the so-called opposition websites as evidenced by former Ambassador McMullen's cables in Wikileaks and even paying for the living expenses of those individuals who operate anti-Eritrea websites. These Weyane dogs have been kept on a close leash until recently, but the mounting frustration of their failures and total rejection by the Eritrean people has led them to embrace mob tactics out of desperation and directly attack our embassies and consulates around the world. The Government of Eritrea has been slow in securing its embassies and
consulates. But this responsibility is not just the government's alone. We can not and should not sit idly by and watch our community centers and embassies get vandalized by these mercenaries. We have to make sure every single one of those hoodlums, including the Tigrayan disaspora who join them to try to inflate their numbers, are held accountable for their actions and prosecuted to the fullest. If need be, we have to make a citizen's arrest until the police arrive and book them properly. Weyane and anti-Eritrea activists such as Dan Connell and Martin Plaut have made it clear they will stop at nothing to try to hamper Eritrea's forward motion. Fighting and defeating their efforts will take different strategies. But securing our embassies and community centers? That is something we can do oursevles.
