Hello Good
people of Eritrea,

In a swift response to the disillusioned ones, who call themselves Eritreans and attempted to occupy the embassies, hundreds of Eritreans in the Washington, DC area gathered on Sunday, February 24, 2003, at the Sheraton in Arlington to show solidarity and unity within the Eritrean communities and celebrated the occasion with a remarkable song by Dawit Shilen titled "wuHus sinki." (see attached lyrics).
As expected, the seminar concluded peacefully thanks to the organizers' commendable preparations. The presentation by the embassy staff was very informative, engaging and very stimulation.
Please enjoy the attached YouTube as a testimony of an Eritrean solid solidarity !!!

Today February 24, 2013, we Eritrean residents of the Washington, DC metropolitan area had a
public meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the State of Eritrea. The Embassy of
Eritrea representatives provided an in depth report on the current political, diplomatic, economic
and social developments in Eritrea, which was followed by candid exchange of ideas.
After carefully analyzing the machinations of the Ethiopian regime and its enablers, who
continue to provide cover for its evil designs, which include creating chaos, pitting one sector of
the Eritrean public against another, engaging in a disinformation and vilification campaign
against the Eritrean government a􀁑􀁇􀀃􀁗􀁋􀁈􀀃􀀳􀁈􀁒􀁓􀁏􀁈􀂶􀁖􀀃􀀩􀁕􀁒􀁑􀁗 for Democracy and Justice. All these are
aimed at 􀁇􀁈􀁕􀁄􀁌􀁏􀁌􀁑􀁊􀀃􀀨􀁕􀁌􀁗􀁕􀁈􀁄􀂶􀁖􀀃􀁖􀁗􀁈􀁄􀁇􀁜􀀃􀁓􀁕􀁒􀁊􀁕􀁈􀁖􀁖􀀃􀁒􀁉􀀃􀁕􀁈􀁆􀁒􀁑􀁖􀁗􀁕􀁘􀁆􀁗􀁌􀁒􀁑􀀃􀁄􀁑􀁇􀀃􀁈􀁆􀁒􀁑􀁒􀁐􀁌􀁆􀀃􀁇􀁈􀁙􀁈􀁏􀁒􀁓􀁐ent.
After thoroughly understanding the development plans and policies being taken by the people
and government of Eritrea, to secure a peaceful, stable, and prosperous Eritrea:
􀁸 First, we strongly condemn all the armchair analysts and pseudo experts
and enemies of the people and State of Eritrea that are engaged in a
campaign of psychological warfare that is aimed at eroding the unity and
harmony of the people, are attempting to make a mountain out of a
molehill and are busy in creating fictitious drama and scenarios of non-
existent events.
􀀤􀁉􀁗􀁈􀁕􀀃􀁗􀁈􀁏􀁏􀁌􀁑􀁊􀀃􀁗􀁋􀁈􀁐􀀃􀁗􀁒􀀃􀂳􀁅􀁄􀁆􀁎􀀃􀁒􀁉􀁉􀂴􀀃􀁒􀁉􀀃􀀨􀁕􀁌􀁗􀁕􀁈􀁄􀂶􀁖􀀃􀁌􀁑􀁗􀁈􀁕􀁑􀁄􀁏􀀃􀁄􀁉􀁉􀁄􀁌􀁕􀁖􀀏􀀃􀁚􀁈􀀃􀁄􀁉􀁉􀁌􀁕􀁐􀀃 our
continuous support to our people and government and we are ready to
challenge all those who are attempting to peddle chaos.
􀁸 Second, we praise the self-reliant efforts the people and government have
undertaken to put Eritrea on a bright and promising road for sustainable
economic development. We also express our readiness to contribute our
􀁉􀁄􀁌􀁕􀀃 􀁖􀁋􀁄􀁕􀁈􀀃 􀁗􀁒􀀃 􀁈􀁑􀁖􀁘􀁕􀁈􀀃 􀀨􀁕􀁌􀁗􀁕􀁈􀁄􀂶􀁖􀀃 􀁓􀁄􀁗􀁋􀀃 􀁗􀁒􀁚􀁄􀁕􀁇􀁖􀀃 􀁈􀁆􀁒􀁑􀁒􀁐􀁌􀁆􀀃 􀁇􀁈􀁙􀁈􀁏􀁒􀁓􀁐􀁈􀁑􀁗􀀃 􀁌􀁖􀀃
secure.
At the same time we condemn the evil campaign of those elements who refuse
to accept the inevitable, the existence of a stable and economically developed
􀀨􀁕􀁌􀁗􀁕􀁈􀁄􀀏􀀃 􀁄􀁑􀁇􀀃 􀁄􀁏􀁏􀀃 􀁗􀁋􀁒􀁖􀁈􀀃 􀁚􀁋􀁒􀀃 􀁄􀁕􀁈􀀃 􀁆􀁄􀁐􀁓􀁄􀁌􀁊􀁑􀁌􀁑􀁊􀀃 􀁉􀁒􀁕􀀃 􀀨􀁕􀁌􀁗􀁕􀁈􀁄􀂶􀁖􀀃 􀁈􀁆􀁒􀁑􀁒􀁐􀁌􀁆􀀃
encirclement and strangulation.
􀁸 Third, we support the admirable efforts that the government of Eritrea is
undertaking for the sake of regional peace and its vision of harmonious
coexistence and cooperation with its neighbors. We also call on the
Ethiopian regime who has shown little or no interest in peace and good
neighborliness, has refused to respect international laws and honor its
treaty obligations, the final and binding demarcation decision of the Eritrea
Ethiopia Boundary Commission (EEBC), and has been working for chaos
and turmoil in the Horn of Africa, to unconditionally vacate from sovereign
Eritrean territories.
􀁸 Fourth, we call upon the UN Security Council to lift the unjust sanctions
that were imposed on the people Eritrea, which were based on
unsubstantiated allegations and fabrications, without any further delay.
􀁸 Fifth, We condemn the latest maneuvers in Geneva by those who say
they are concerned about human rights, and those who are trying to
blame the Eritrean government when in fact they are the very ones
responsible for the human trafficking and the appalling plight of Eritrean
youth in the Sahara and Sinai deserts. We hail the Government of
􀀨􀁕􀁌􀁗􀁕􀁈􀁄􀂶􀁖􀀃􀁕􀁈􀁏􀁈􀁑􀁗􀁏􀁈􀁖􀁖􀀃􀁈􀁉􀁉􀁒􀁕􀁗􀁖􀀏􀀃􀁚􀁌􀁗􀁋􀁌􀁑􀀃􀁗􀁋􀁈􀀃􀁅􀁒􀁘􀁑􀁇􀁖􀀃􀁒􀁉􀀃􀁌􀁑􀁗􀁈􀁕􀁑􀁄􀁗􀁌􀁒􀁑􀁄􀁏􀀃􀁏􀁄􀁚􀀏􀀃􀁗􀁒􀀃􀁓􀁕􀁒􀁗􀁈􀁆􀁗􀀃
and defend the rights of its citizens wherever they might be, to alleviate
their suffering.
􀁸 Sixth, as Eritrean-Americans we support the repeated calls of the Eritrean
government for a constructive engagement with the United States of
􀀤􀁐􀁈􀁕􀁌􀁆􀁄􀀃 􀁄􀁑􀁇􀀃 􀁚􀁈􀀃 􀁆􀁄􀁏􀁏􀀃 􀁘􀁓􀁒􀁑􀀃 􀀳􀁕􀁈􀁖􀁌􀁇􀁈􀁑􀁗􀀃 􀀲􀁅􀁄􀁐􀁄􀂶􀁖􀀃 􀀤􀁇􀁐􀁌􀁑􀁌􀁖􀁗􀁕􀁄􀁗􀁌􀁒􀁑􀀃 􀁗􀁒􀀃 􀁗􀁄􀁎􀁈􀀃 􀁄􀀃
sober analysis of its policies in the Horn of Africa and work for the interest
of the two peoples that have a lot in common, who would benefit the most
from peace and security in the region.
Finally, we condemn all the mercenary hooligans, criminals and social misfits who are engaged
