Norwegian superhero launches in the U.S.

There are not many Norwegian super heroes in the world, nor comics from Norway. It has Tzegai Josef Yohannes (32) from Oslo acted upon. Soon the cartoon series in his store shelves in the United States.
With "The Urban Legend" will Yohannes create a new superhero for our generation.
- I have faith that this is going to be huge, and that "The Urban Legend" will take a super hero to another level, says Yohannes about his new series.
Sign the contract in the U.S.
The first step towards cartoon heaven takes Yohannes when the series launches this fall in the United States. The American publisher Arch Enemy Entertainment will release "The Urban Legend" and with this hope Yohannes his superhero to blend in among the heavyweights in the comic world.
- I am an outsider in the comics scene and working to respect the environment. Not everyone has faith in my super hero, and it's hard to get into the market, says the Norwegian cartoonist to tv2.no.
Inspiration from Africa
Yohannes is fresh in the game. 32-year-old came to Norway from Eritrea age of nine. He studied political science, worked with youth and been party organizer. Now he runs security company in Oslo, while he creates comic.
The idea he was on holiday in Africa in 2010. He was in a poor area in Botswana when he saw two young children almost without clothes.
- I gave them $ 10 and the boys were moved to tears. I was sorry that I could not give them anything more than a few dollars. Five months later, I created the super hero, which I hope can give children like them inspiration and hope, says Yohannes.
The teacher becomes the superhero
The series is about a young teacher who looks tired of his hometown is becoming more dangerous and corrupt. He decides to take up the fight against criminality, and is "The Urban Legend". The British artist New Tasty, who has worked for include the BBC, Virgin and Esquire, has drawn series of Yohannes.

Little money making
