I want the regime to give me my money because I did not get it . I went to NYC on a plane, paid for a very expensive hotel for myself, mother, sister and nephew. We waited outside for hours but it was jam packed so we could not see our beloved President. We were outside with Eritreans from everywhere and we were bummed but yet happy that we demonstrate with our actions that we supported our government . We know P.I.A. is humble and is not one for overt displays of affection, but it was important to us that he knew we supported him/Shabia/Eritrea.I had no idea the Eritrean government would be paying for the trip. What kind of idiot believes that the Eritrean government can "order" Eritreans in America to come to a meeting? How would they do that? If there was any hint of that , they would expel our entire Foreign Service Ministry. Ministry. The irony that Eritrea is always so poor and isolated and unable to do a damn thing, except when it comes to finding money to support Somali fighters and pay for transportation/lodging in the most expensive city in the world? Who buys this b.s.?

There were thousands of us outside. The opposition had 20 people, 5 kids under 10.
