Eritreans first started making migrations to the United Kingdom in the
early 1960s when the Eritrean War of Independence started.
Following a federation between Eritrea and Ethiopia in 1952, Halie Selassie
annexed Eritrea as its 14th province in 1961 sparking a war between
Eritrean rebels and the Ethiopian government.
The second wave of immigrants came in the late 1980s and the early 1990s,
shortly before Eritrea gained independence from Ethiopia in 1991……
The Eritrean UK citizens are seen as good law *abounding* citizens which
give to their community and country and earn incredible respect and give
the Eritrean culture a good name. There are highly shown to be excelling
people who follow the law and even shown by the majority of their records
to have a zero criminal history since 1960s . This type of behavior isn’t
just in the UK but also shown by all Eritreans living throughout the world.
