Over 540 students graduate from SMAP Institute with Diploma and Certificate
Asmara, 27 December 2014 – A total of 543 students graduated today with Diploma and Certificate from the SMAP Institute branch in Asmara upon completion of different training courses.
The graduating batch comprises of Accounting, Business English, Law and Management, ICT, Pedagogy, Secretarial Science and Theatrical Arts, and that 119 out of the total graduated at Diploma level, while the remaining 424 graduated with Certificate.
Mr. Petros Hailemariam, Director General of Human Resource Development and Research Department in the Ministry Education, handed certificates and awards for those who demonstrated excellence in their studies. In a 
remark he made at the graduation ceremony, he pointed out that the nation’s development could be measured through educated human resource, and that the Government is making immense investment to this end.
Likewise, Dr. Tesfai Haile, Managing Director of the Institute, explained that its objective is to promote quality education nationwide alongside the Government’s persistent endeavors to this end. He also indicated that preparations have been finalized for launching Degree program in the Institute.
Representatives of the graduating batch expressed readiness to serve with commitment.
