CHREA (Blida) - Eritrean Amanuel Egerzeigzaaeri won the third and final
stage of the International Tour of Blida, run Tuesday between Zéralda and
Chréa (114 km), as part of the Grand Cycling Tour of Algeria 2014 (GTAC
2014).
Egerzeigzaaeri finished in 3h 09min 54sec, ahead of Rwandan Jean Bosco
Nsengimana in 3h 10min 54sec and the other Eritrean Yemane Bereket in 3h
10min 57sec.
The winner of the third stage, Amanuel Egerzeigzaaeri clinched both
jerseys; yellow of the leader and white of best hope.
The red jersey, awarded to the best sprinter returned to Azzedine Laagab
(GS pétroliers), while the polka dot jersey of best climber
was awarded to Rwandan Jean Bosco Nsengimana .
The tour caravan will move Setif (300 km east of Algiers) for the running
on Wednesday of the International Tour of Setif, the fifth round of the
GTAC 2014
