Born in Eritrea, raised in Stockholm and now living in LA, Emnet has
developed a love for an eccentric mix of cultures and visual expression.
His work screams perfectionism and stunning imagery. Awarded by many, our

IN COLLABORATION WITH BARE FILMS LONDON, JOHNNY FOREIGNER IS PROUD TO
PRESENT EMNET MULUGETA TO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS. With a love for most
things hiphop, some things 80's and all things Brazil, Emnet basks in
elegant imagery and striking visual effects to tell stories. With roots in
Eritrea on the east coast of Africa, he's spent most of his time in Sweden.
Starting in the industry as a designer, animator and compositor, he quickly
rose to the role of Creative Director at Visual Art, Stockholm creating
numerous TV-network identity packages. Commercial direction soon followed
and to date he's directed over 30 idents for the TV3-network across Europe,
as well as promos for the FX-series Nip/Tuck and HBO, all of which received
Promax awards. Since 2002 he's had the good fortune to have worked with
creative teams at agencies DDB, Ogilvy, JWT, McCann, Leo Burnett creating
spots for high profile brands such as Sony, HBO, Volvo, Sony Ericsson, AEG,
LG Electronics, Carlsberg, Nokia, Brother among others.
