Somalia Was Destroyed By Tribalism, Says President Yuweri of Uganda

The Ugandan president Yuweri Kaguta Museveni said Somalia was destroyed by
tribalism. President Yuweri told that to the commander of AFRICOM, David
Rodriguuez. President Yuweri Kaguta Museveni met David Rodriguuez at Ugandan
State House at Entebe near Kampala.
He said people in Somalia believe in tribalism. President Yuweri pointed out
the need for Somali youth to practice Pan Africanism so that they can rescue
their country from the problems and the disintegration caused by tribalism.
He called for the Somali youths in Uganda and in the United States to advise
their fellow Somali youths in Somalia to avoid tribalism mentality and to be
dedicated for overcoming the risk tribalism poses to the restoration of
stability and peace in the country.
President Yuweri thanked the US government of the support it gives to the
UPDF contingent of AMISOM who fight against Alshabaab. On the other hand,
the commander of AFRICOM David Rodriguuez said the rehabilitation of the
Somali National Army is a courageous action and he praised the countries
that sent their peace keeping forces to Somalia so as to restore peace and
stability in there.
