Dubarwa, 03 February 2015 – At a 2-week workshop conducted in Dubarwa town, it was stated that about 80% of Eritrea’s population have managed to read and write thanks to the persistent endeavors made nationwide towards reducing illiteracy rate.
The workshop was organized by the Adult Education Program and Media for a total of 60 supervisors from the six Administrative regions. Mr. Woldu Berhe and Mr. Tukabo Aymut both from the Adult Education program office stated that the workshop aims at strengthening activities pertaining to promoting literacy. They also called on the participants to live up to expectations.
The participant teachers on their part noted the significance of the event as regards broadening understanding of the Adult Education program, in addition to exchanging experience.
