This is regarding the article that you posted in your site about Medhanie
Alem and The Saint Michaels Church issues. First of all, before you post
any pictures you should have gotten consent from the individual(s). Because
I know for a fact that you didn't receive any authorization from any of
these women to post set picture. One of the reasons being that one of these
women in this picture is actually my own mother! As well, not only does
this picture have no correlation with the information presented in the
article, it was also taken during the Eritrean Independence celebration and
has nothing to do with the Tewahdo church. Therefore, it is imperative that
set picture be removed immediately. I'd also like to add that the
accusations that are being made towards both priests of Medhanie Alem and
St.Michael Orthodox church are completely false and have been taken out of
context. If there was a genuine concern for the recognition of Fenkil and
the betterment of the Eritrean community, then one should have sought out
both priests and discussed their concerns without defaming their names! The
information in set article has no benefit for the Eritrean people, but does
nothing other then cause division and chaos. I am sincerely disheartened
after having read this article, we more than ever need to come together and
create solidarity amongst us so that we can resolve and discuss the
situation at hand. To the anonymous writer, please for the sake of the
Eritrean people recognize your faults and use your discretion when
expressing your "concerns" next time!
