International Cycling Tour of Setif: Debesay wins third stage, Algerian Nabil Baz keeps yellow jersey
SETIF - Eritrean cyclist Mekseb Debesay on Wednesday won the third stage of the International Cycling Tour of Setif, sixth event of the GTAC-2015, while Algerian Nabil Baz of Club Sovac kept the leader’s yellow jersey.
At the end of the third stage, Setif - El Eulma - Setif, run over a distance of 115 km, the Eritrean finished the race in 2:36:54, ahead of Algerian Hanachi Abdelbasat of GS Pétroliers and Eritrean Aron Debretsion.
As for him, Algerian cyclist Nabil Baz from Club Sovac kept the leader yellow jersey and the red jersey of the best sprinter, while the polka dot jersey of best climber returned to Eritrea Amanuel Ghebreigbhi. Abderrahmane Mansouri of Club Sovac kept the white jersey of best hope.
On Thursday, the cyclists will run the fourth and final stage of the International Tour of Setif, set between Setif-Bougaa then return to Setif, over a distance of 129 Km.
