Ibrahim Mahmoud directs Kassala state to promote relations with Eritrea
Khartoum, Nov. 18 (SUNA)
Khartoum — The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Engineer, Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid has given directives to Kassala state to develop relations with the state of Eritrea via economic, cultural and social communications, and the exchange of the official relations particularly across the boarders areas.
During his meeting Wednesday in his office at the Republican Palace the Wali (governor) of Kassala state, Adam Jamma'a Adam he stressed on the security coordination with the Eritrean neighboring regions by the joint work.
The governor asserted in press statements the stability of the security situations on the state's borders, pointing to the state's capability for handling any violations on the state's borders.
The governor referred to the invitation extended to the governor of the Eritrean Al-Ghash region to participate in the communication forum due to be held in the state during 22-23 of current November, noting to the Eritrean governor welcome to the invitation.
Adam added that he briefed the president assistant on the overall situation in the state and his recent visit to the state of Eritrea.
