Former FootballCV Academy Student Filmon Kibrom Called Up To Eritrea National Team
Filmon Kibrom, a former student at the FootballCV Academy, has received his first call-up to the Eritrea national team.
Kibrom spent two years at the Academy, graduating in 2014, and he has now been selected in the squad of 23 for Eritrea's upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
British-born Kibrom flew out last week to join his team-mates for the first time, in preparation for their two-legged knockout clash with Botswana in the African qualifying section.
Eritrea's home fixture will be played on the 10th October 2015, three days prior to the return leg in Botswana, and the former Academy star will be vying for his chance to shine on the national stage as the Red Sea Boys begin their bid for a place at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
