World champion Ghebreslassie to the half marathon of Egmond

Ghirmay Ghebreslassie is added to the list of participants for the half marathon of Egmond. The 21-year-old Eritrean runner is reigning world champion in the marathon and won last month’s New York marathon.

At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro ended Ghebreslassie fourth.

The Ethiopian old-winner Dawit Wolde in Egmond on January 8. Other contenders are Tesfaye Abera (also from Ethiopia), Ykalo Fsaha (training partner of Ghebreslassie from Eritrea) and Kalipus Lomwai from Kenya.

A Quarter, Khalid Choukoud, Michel Butter en Ronald Schroer are the main participants.
