In 2017, we will race all around Asia and Europe with a 10 riders team roster. Tom Bossis, Takayuki Mizuno and Torataro Nishi were already with us in 2016 and continue the adventure for one more year.
Two other young japanese riders join Torataro (20 y.o) to become the first three members of our development section. Takuya Nakata (20 y.o), coming from the VC Fukuoka, rose up to the Japan Pro Tour level after a quick 6 months ascent. Yuto Yoshida (22 y.o), from Nihon University, is the 2015 academic champion. Finally, Kyohei Mizuno (28 y.o) was racing among the Nasu Blasen continental roster in 2016 and will take advantage of his experience of internatinal racing to bring the team up to the top of the rankings.
Concernin French riders, Damien Garcia (24 y.o) will be back to a French identity team after 3 years in foering continental structures. Julien Amadori (23 y.o) will discover continental level, but not professional races because he already ranked 6th of the Tour of Szekerland (Romania) and 11th of the Tour of Poyang Lake (China) as an amateur rider. He could be the big surprise of the upcoming season, Florian Hudry (22 y.o) will challenge the Japan Pro Tour competition and give a hand (a leg ?) to the UCI roster on mountain races.
Finally, the surprise that we prepared yesterday on social networks is coming from Africa : we are honoured to welcome the Eritrean rider Issak Tesfom Okubamariam (25 y.o), current African champion, winner of the UCI Africa Tour, elected as the Best African rider of 2016 season. We were surprised that a world class rider like Tesfom did not find a Pro Continental or a World Tour team for 2017. Currently 122th of the UCI world rankings, our goal will be helping him to reach the highest level of cycling for the next season.
