Emotions at Eritrean Volleyball Tournament

The Eritrean national volleyball federation as launched a local Volleyball
competition in collaboration with the Eritrean Commission of Culture and
Sports.

The competition attracted a lot of fans and officials who attended the
event that featured 9 male team’s and the same number of women’s teams.
Among other organisations who sponsored the 2 week competition were the
Sports department of the Ministry of Defence and the Board of Higher
Education Institutions.

The tournament was created to help to spread the gospel of the sport across
the country and it is considered a good tool to help discover promising
players.
