No criminal investigation into abuse Eritrean church
According to the Public Prosecution Service in Rotterdam there is no evidence of abuse in the Eritrean Orthodox Church in Rotterdam. Therefore there will be no criminal investigation.
Earlier it was reported that the church would be possible involved in abuse cases within the church community. The Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) advised unaccompanied minors in early January no longer go to the services of the church. A spokesman for the COA would not say what was the cause, only that there are "serious signs" were received. These signals would have to deal with possible abuse in the community around the church. There would be a large number of pregnancies of young Eritrean women. The COA has been notified of the signals to the police and the FIU human beings. Justice investigated the matter with the police. Problem was that there were no reports of abuse done. This also made it difficult to study.
