According to the National Holiday’s Coordinating Committee of the Northern Red Sea region, programs have been planned that honor and depict the commemoration.
Programs will include various athletic activities, rallies, and city decorations, amongst others.
Additionally, most of the preparations have already been completed and guests will begin arriving to the port city from the 11th of February.
On a different note, Eritreans residing in The Republic of Sudan celebrated Fenkil with vigor and zeal.
The event, which was attended by various diplomats, civic association directors, university representatives, and Sudanese citizens, was highlighted by a range of enthusiastic and colorful programs organized by Eritrean and Sudanese musical bands.
