Autopsy on S. Marta receptionist

ROME

(ANSA) - Rome, February 23 - Prosecutors have ordered an autopsy to be carried out on the body of Miriam Wuolou, a receptionist at Pope Francis' Santa Marta residence, who was found dead in her home on the outskirts of Rome last Friday.
The 34-year-old Italian woman of Eritrean origin was in the seventh month of pregnancy and had been absent from work for several weeks due to a serious form of diabetes.
A DNA test will also be carried out on the foetus. Wuolou's body was found by Carabinieri police at her flat in the Pisana area south of Rome after her brother raised the alarm. It allegedly presented no signs of violence.
The Vatican was said to be following the case closely, although it is not directly involved in investigations.
