Clash between TPLF and OLF soldiers in Borana Zone, Moyale district, Malabi village has left two TPLF soldiers dead and four wounded.
Regime soldiers wounded in the clash were airlifted to Police Hospital in Addis Ababa, while the soldiers who were killed have been identified as Walday ( army) and Yohannes Abate ( federal police).
In response to the fighting, the 44th division of TPLF army stationed near Moyale was reportedly seen moving quickly towards the border with Kenya where more fighting ensued with the rebel group.
Following the clash, TPLF soldiers fired on civilians and wounded several people. Three of them have been identified as Bonaya Halake, Gobu Guyo, and Barchi Duba
