Two men who were arrested in Thetford on suspicion of entering the UK illegally are from Eritrea, the Home Office has revealed.
Norfolk Police arrested two men in Howlett Way at around 10.30am on Tuesday after receiving reports of noises coming from the back of a lorry.
The men have since been handed over to Immigration Enforcement.
A spokesman for the Home Office said the men were from Eritrea, and that if they are found to have no right to remain in the UK, they will be removed from the country.
