Fears for missing servant to wealthy Saudi family who vanished from their Sussex home
A POLICE hunt is underway after a servant to a wealthy Saudi Arabian family went missing, sparking fears for her welfare.

Johmeia Hamed was staying at her Saudi employers’ summer home in Hove, East Sussex, when she went missing.
The 49-year-old, who has not been seen since September 18, has worked for the same family for 20 years and had never disappeared before, according to police.
But officers said the servant, who only has a slight grasp of English, went missing overnight from an address in New Church Road, Hove, in September.
Hamed is described as 5ft tall, slender and of Middle Eastern appearance while she is believed to have last been seen wearing a headdress and jeans.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Johmeia, originally from Eritrea but now a Saudi national, went missing overnight.
“She was a servant/maid with a Saudi family who live in Saudi Arabia and who had been staying at their summer home in Hove for a few days from September 18. They returned home on September 21.
“She has never left the family before in the 20 years she has been with them.
“There is no reason at present to believe her disappearance is suspicious but because of her unfamiliarity with the country and apparent lack of English, there is natural increasing concern for her welfare.”
Sussex Police have asked anyone who sees Hamed or knows where she may be to contact them.
