*Eritrean National Cross Country Championships*
The Eritrean National Cross Country Championships are being held today,
February 22, 2009, in Sheeb, Eritrea. The race is the culmination of over a
month of preparation by the Eritrean Sports Commission, with EAAA assisting
in sending medals, prize money, and working with the runners individually.
Hellen Tesfamariam, an EAAA advisory board member, is attending.
The first through sixth place winners, in all four divisions, will head to
compete in the 37th IAAF World Cross Country Championships on March 28, 2009
to be held in Amman, Jordan.
We will post the results as soon as we are made aware of them.
