The former leader of Somalia Islamic courts Union Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys, who is now in Asmara Eritrea called for the Al Qaida leader not to mingle with Somali internal affairs.
Hassan Dahir Aweys who is on the US terror list, was one of the Islamic courts leaders thought to have close ties with Al Qaida according to the US intelligence.
On Thursday Hassan Dahir aweys told the media that he believes is up to the Somali people to decide whether to support their government or not.
He said foreign interference in Somali affairs will not have any fruitful results.
Aweys is part of the Somali opposition who broke away from the group led by Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, the current Somali President.
