Sawa, 21 January 2010 - Mr. Abdalla Jabir, Head of Organizational Affairs at
the PFDJ, said that the illegal US sanctions resolution adopted in the name
of the Security Council in the wake of the foiled conspiracies designed to
undermining Eritrean sovereignty and unity would reinforce the Eritrean
people's strength and development drive for economic emancipation.
He made the remarks during a seminar he conducted at the Sawa Vocational
Training Center. Recalling that enemy ploys in the days of the armed
struggle for independence ended up in utter failure thanks to the united
resistance of the Eritrean people, the PFDJ official asserted that the ploys
of hostile quarters against Eritrea would be meet with equal resistance.
Mr. Abdalla went on to explain the integrated national development program
mapped out for 2010 aims at improving the people's standard of living, and
called on all nationals to step up their efforts to attain the set goal.
The participants of the seminar on their part pointed out that the latest
acts of conspiracy are not new to the Eritrean people and reaffirmed their
determination to live up to the expectations of the Homeland.
