Somalia: Hizbul Islam Denounces Djibouti's President Gelle, Calls Large
Demonstration

The officials of the Islamic organization of Hizbul Islam have Tuesday held
press conference in the Somali capital Mogadishu and denounced the
Djiboutian president Osma'il Omar Gelle for sending his troops to Somalia.

Sheik Mohamed Mo'alin, the information secretary of Hizbul Islam talked more
issues in the press conference saying that they were against the plans that
Djibouti wants to send its troops to Somalia to join the African Union
forces in the Somali capital Mogadishu accusing that leader of Djibouti
Osma'il Omar Gelle.

The officials also disproved governments' statement which was that Hisbul
Islam forces with other Ethiopian and Eritrean forces fought with them in a
fighting what happened in north of the capital Mogadishu.

"Hizbul Islam fighters did not fight with any of other foreign forces,
Ethiopians or Eritrean forces. The government's statement on that issue was
false," said Sheik Mohamed.

In other side, the official also said that they would organize large
demonstration which will take placed in more different areas in and out of
the Somali capital Mogadishu pointing out that they would begin from Elasha
village, out of the capital for the coming Friday calling for all the Somali
people to be ready for taking part the demonstration.

"In our demonstration, we are against to the Djiboutian government and the
presence of the African Union troops (AMISOM) in Mogadishu who are helping
the transitional government authorities," said Sheik Mohamed.

The in formation secretary of of Hizbul Islam said in his press conference
that they welcome the Nigerian's statement that they will never send their
troops to Somalia calling for the other African states to so.

The statement of Hizbul Islam comes as the Djibouti pledged recently that it
would send 450 of its troops to Somalia meanwhile Ugandan started training
its troops planned to be sent to Somalia to join the AU forces in Mogadishu.
