February 2010 - In a seminar he conducted to Eritrean citizens residing in
Sudan, Mr. Abdalla Jabir, Head of Organizational Affairs at the PFDJ, said
that the shameful and unjust US sanctions resolution adopted in the name of
the Security Council would only reinforce Eritrea's intact national unity,
besides accelerating the pace of development endeavors towards ensuring
economic emancipation.
Stressing the paramount importance of reinforcing national unity in making
history and meeting challenges, he recalled the unparalleled contribution
and firm unity of the Eritrean people both inside the country and abroad for
the realization of independence. In this connection, the PFDJ official
underscored that as we are still endowed with such an asset, all acts of
hostility and conspiracy weaved to undermine our existence and progress
would certainly end up in total failure.

further pointed out that the nation has not only managed to rebuff the
continued anti-Eritrea hostility weaved on the part of the US and its
servant regimes over the past 12 years but also laid solid ground that
ensure the nation's bright future and improve the people's standard of
living. Thanks to the coordinated endeavors made by the people, EDF members,
government and PFDJ institutions, Eritrea is standing on solid ground, he
elucidated.
The PFDJ official stressed the significance of strengthening national unity
and raising awareness so as to vigilantly rebuff the concocted conspiracies
and challenges. He also outlined the development and national resolute
rebuff programs envisaged for implementation in 2010.
The participants of the seminar stated on their part that enemy resort to
acts of conspiracy is not something new as far as the Eritrean people are
concerned, and voiced commitment to live up to the nation's expectation in
foiling such acts of hostility.
