Biddho Tour III took place in Birmingham, UK this Saturday 6th March, 2010.
This is the third event YPFDJ is hosting in the UK and it was a chance for
the city of Birmingham to soak the atmosphere of musical extravaganza the
Biddho Tour has to offer. It was truly a night the Eritreans in Birmingham
will not forget easily. It was a night were the musical sensation of
Eritreans was pushed to the limit and the display of patriotism and unity
was in full view. The appreciation of the music, singers and the band was
unmistakable. The excitement of the audience was so intense that the music
had to be stopped several times due to the number of people who wanted to

The event was also conducted in conjunction of the NUEW annual March 8
celebration, where they announced the formation of the new Birmingham branch
of the association. The event also was an opportunity to announce the
formation of new Hidri group who were inspired by their trip to Geneva
demonstration and decided to sponsor a family of Martyrs; and on the night
they raised sufficient fund to sponsor one martyr's family. The YPFDJ group
in London also made a short description of the movement and its activities
and ideals.
The singers (Fhira, Korchach, Melekin, Tedors, Mahmoud) came to the stage
one after the other and delivered a spectacular show. The band that
accompanied the singers was also individually talented and collectively
harmonious. They have managed to push the singers to their musical heights
and reciprocally the singers have egged the musicians to their full artistic
ability.
The Birmingham community was thankful to the artists and YPFDJ for putting
up the show and entertained and united the community on the night and wished
similar events can be put in the future.
The next show for Biddho will be in London on the 13th March in the Fridge,
Brixton.
