Sean
Kingston among first acts announced for Jubilee CityFest

By Robyn Bradley Litchfield • April 1, 2010

Jubilee CityFest announced today that Jamaican-American singer-rapper Sean
Kingston will perform at the music festival in May.
Born Kisean Jamal Anderson in Miami, Kingston was raised in Kingston,
Jamaica, and became a multiplatinum artist at the age of 17. He made his
musical debut in 2007, with such hits as "Beautiful Girls," "Me Love," "Take
You There" and "There's Nothin'." And in less than three years, Kingston has
sold more than 6 million digital singles and more than 4.5 million
ringtones. He has also toured with such artists as Gwen Stefani and Chris
Brown. In addition, his self-titled debut hit No. 1 in 21 countries.

This year's festival -- slightly different from previous years -- will begin
May 22 and run through May 28 and 29. Kingston is set to hit the Jubilee's
Poarch Creek Indians/Miller/Hyundai Amphitheater Stage on May 28.

Kingston released his second album in September 2009, and it reflects his
growth as a young man and artist. The album features "Magical," "Face Drop"
and more.

His musical talent seems to run in the family -- his grandfather is
legendary Jamaican producer Jack Ruby. But this young artist is making a
name for himself with a fresh blend of rap, reggae, pop and doo-wop.

The music festival has also confirmed that the EriAm Sisters,
semi-finalists on NBC's hit show "America's Got Talent," will open for
Kingston.

This young trio comprises the Abraham sisters, Haben, Salina and Lianda.
Coming from a musically and culturally diverse family, the girls' group
name is short for Eritrean-American as both their parents were born in the
East African country of Eritrea.

The girls have just released their first project with such producers as DJ
Freestyle, the official DJ of Timbaland and Justin Timberlake.

Jubilee will announce other headlining acts as plans are finalized.
