-----ypfdjfinal.jpgAsmara, 7 April 2010 - The 6th Young PFDJ Conference in
Berlin, Germany, concluded on April 5 adopting a 3-year long plan of action
and significant resolutions.
The Conference took note of the fact that the youth movement is entering a
new phase and that ensuring national security and interest still remains top
priority. It further lauded the united strong voice echoed by Eritrean
nationals inside the country and abroad in denouncing the vicious and
illegal Resolution 1907.
The conference also highlighted the significance of fostering cooperation
among the people in the Horn region, as well as justice and peace-loving
parties in efforts to promote

contribution and firm unity of Eritrean communities in different parts of
the world, it noted the need for the communities to raise awareness and
remain ever vigilant to all enemy acts of conspiracy.
At a closing ceremony in which about 600 YPFDJ from various corners of the
globe, as well as representatives of different national associations in
Germany, veteran members of Mass organizations and parents took part, the
participants condemned the US-engineered unjustifiable and illegal
Resolution 1907. They also adopted a number of resolutions and
recommendations aimed at rebuffing such wicked ploy, including the need to
take concerted action against anti-Eritrea smear campaign, reinforcing
endeavors towards foiling economic conspiracies, strengthening the
organizational capacity of Eritrean communities abroad and the like.
The participants further decided that the 7th YPFDJ Conference be held in
Norway next year.
