A man who was killed when he was hit by a train at Twyford train station
last month has been named as Ghirmai Abraha Hiyabu.
The 42-year-old, who was from London, died when he was struck by a Swansea
to London Paddington service at around 7pm on Tuesday, March 16.
A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said: “Mr Hiyabu was
originally from Eritrea [in north east Africa] but was known to the Ladbroke
Grove area of West London.
“Officers have informed his family and funeral arrangements are currently
being arranged.”
A file is now being prepared for the coroner.
