Her friends call her Nef with affection. Nef; short for Queen Nefertiti; is Suzy Abraha of Eritrea. Nef was born in Sudan, and she landed in Atlanta, USA; when she was only 25 days old. Amazingly, she holds tight to her Eritrean roots and masters her mother tongue.
A deeply philosophical Hip Hop artist youth, Nef reconciles two cultures with a philosophical and clean lyrics. And her voice soars to the heights. When Nef sings, it is a moment of PASSION in its pure terms. Nef will be the first to tell you she intends to sing her own style, echo her own beliefs and stay ethically true to herself.

Born Eritrean, Nef grew up in a culture unfamiliar to her own. She quickly started experiencing life on a first hand basis. Juggling between cultures, she developed a love for Hip Hop, that she feels is her escape from the world and also the way she expresses her thoughts.
Nef grew up having a strong perception of her womanhood. Positivity and motivation guide her to embrace her femininity but also sets a good example for young women. Mainstream music is lacking a strong female to captivate listeners without using a raunchy, suggestive, or aggressive undertone. But now, Nef is out and about to cover that lack.
Nef has grown out of her quiet shell and is ready to tell the World what she has been observing.
