Dr. Ammanuel Mehreteab Receives Recognition from the American Oil
Chemists Society
We are pleased to announce that Ammanuel Mehreteab, Worldwide
Director, Cross-Category Innovation - Early Research, has received
the 2010 Samuel Rosen Memorial Award from the American Oil Chemists
Society (AOCS). Ammanuel was recently honored by the AOCS in
Phoenix, Arizona.
The award is sponsored by the AOCS Surfactants and Detergents
Division, recognizing a scientist or technologist who has made
significant accomplishments in the application of the principles of
surfactant chemistry. The award reflects Ammanuel’s many
accomplishments in colloid and surfactant science, for which he is
well recognized both within and outside Colgate as an expert in the
field.
Ammanuel joined Colgate in 1981 and throughout his career has
provided state-of-the-art knowledge and measurement capabilities in
surface and colloid sciences, fragrance technology, rheology,
microscopy, molecular analysis and robotics. He has worked with
teams across categories and functions to enhance speed-to-market and
improve quality and product performance.
