President Afwerki Receives Dr. Ismail and Confirms his Participation in Inauguration of President Al-Bashir
Asmara, May 24 (SUNA)- The Eritrean President, Assais Afwerki, Monday evening received the visiting Presidential Adviser, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, who conveyed to President Afwerki the congratulations of the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, and the Sudanese people on the National Day of Eritrea
Dr. Ismail has invited President Afwerki to attend the inauguration of President Al-Bashir on Thursday
President Afwerki accepted the invitation to attend the inauguration of President Al-Bashir
President Afwerki and Dr. Ismail also discussed progress of the relations between Sudan and Eritrea and means of consolidating them further in all domains
Dr. Ismail is participating at the celebrations of Eritrea to its National Day on behalf of President Al-Bashir
Meanwhile, Dr. Ismail met in Asmara with the leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) - Origin, Mohamed Osman Al-Mirghani, and discussed issues of mutual concern to the National Congress and DUP, and agreed on the importance of the continuous dialogue between the two parties
