Eritrea supports stability and unity of Yemen, says Afewerki

SANA'A, May 27 (Saba) - President of Eritrea Isaias Afewerki has confirmed
support of his country for the stability and security of Yemen.
In an interview with al-Thawra Daily, Afewerki affirmed concern of his
country to enhance Yemeni-Eritrean relationship, especially in the economic
field to sever common interests of both nations.
About role of two countries in supporting security in the region, the
Eritrean president said that the security and stability are very importance
for development and investment in the region.
He wished the accession of Eritrea to Sana'a Forum for Cooperation, pointing
out to suggestion of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to join Eritrea to this
region bloc.
The Eritrean leader said that the regions blocs should create a climate
which contributes to establish economic, cultural and security integration
in the region.
Moreover, he denied reports that Eritrean has been used to be a stage to
achieve plots of some countries like Israel and Iran in the region.
