Qatar Charity Society Completes Establishment of Two Villages in East Sudan
Khartoum, Jan. 11 (SUNA)- Qatar Charity Society has completed establishment of two model villages in east Sudan at the cost of 19 million riyals, in the context of the continuous efforts of Qatar to boost the development and the socio-economic stability in Sudan
The Director of Qatar Charity Office in Sudan said that establishment of Al-Laffa and Taluk villages aimed for supporting the development process in Sudan generally and in east Sudan especially, mainly with regard to the provision of water, education and health services
He said that 30 houses were established in each village at the area of 300 square meters for each house
He indicated that two basic level schools for girls and boys were established in the two villages, in addition to a secondary school for boys and a boarding house for students and offices for the teachers and a health center and a mosque for each of the two villages
The Director of the Qatari Charity Organization said that the two villages were supplied with water and electricity services.
