Basin Forum Calls for Reaching Consensus on Water Resources Management
Cairo, March 24 (SUNA) - The Semi-Regional Forum of the Eastern Nile Basin Countries which includes Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan and Egypt has called for strengthening of the relations between the River Nile countries
This came in the concluding sessions of the Forum which held recently in Cairo and attended by the representatives of the Nile Basin Countries in addition to the concerned regional and international organizations
The Forum organized under the motto,( joint Water - Joint Opportunities) reviewed among other issues, the possibility of reaching a consensus to manage the water resources, its just distribution, relation between water, economy and food security as well as strengthening integration and strategic relations among the Nile Basin Countries member states
