 7th YPFDJ Conference April 21st -25th Norway
 Accelerating Eritrea’s Developmentalist Ethos
 The YPFDJ Eritrean youth movement will be holding its annual world wide 
 conference from April 21st to 25th 2011 in Norway under the theme of 
 accelerating Eritrea’s Developmentalist ethos.
 Final preparations are underway to host close to 700 Eritrean youth 
 from all parts of Europe including world wide participants from North 
 America, Middleast and Eritrea.
 
 The youth conference which is unique in its kind and nature has 
 attracted hundreds of active youth who would like to create a vibrant 
 youth activities and organisation which can critically analyse the 
 myriad issues facing in their daily lives and would like to change their 
 environment in an organised way.
 The main aim of the 7th European YPFDJ Conference in Oslo, Norway is to 
 carry on the platform created for the youth to interact, evaluate and 
 plan their annual work programme and address issues that affect their 
 future and the future of their communities and nation.  This year the 
 main conference theme will be Sustainable Development and Organisational 
 Development. The youth will have a chance to understand and discuss the 
 developmental ethos that underline  the core ideology of overcoming the 
 need of their nation. There will be an opportunity to look at 4 topics 
 in detail, these are:
 1.	Food security
 2.	International cooperation and Development aid
 3.	Health and Education
 4.	Economic Development and Policies
 The conference will also have the opportunity to address organisational 
 matters in a view to further strengthen the YPFDJ organisation. It will 
 look into the strategic plans of YPFDJ and the progress made so far.
 The conference will also provide a platform to address all current 
 affairs issues that affects our society and interact with high-level 
 leaders and ask any questions.
 In the occasion of 20th Eritrean Independence and the 50th anniversary 
 of the  commencemnt of Eritrean Struggle, the conferences will 
 comemorate these important milestones with Exhibitions, shows, Book Fare 
 and many other activities.
