Kassala State governor appreciates Eritrea over border security

Kassala, April 20 (SUNA)-Wali of Kassala State, Muhamed Yusuf Adam has
appreciated Eritrean government's efforts to maintain peace and stability
along joint borders. The governor made the remark in a meeting with the
visiting Eritrean Military Commander, General Takhli Menjous, in the
presence of the the Commmander of the 11th Infantry Divion, head of
Legislative Council and Director of Police. The governor has pointed to
President Al Bashir's late visit to Eritrea and reviewed Kassala State's
efforts encouraging trade between the two countries and fighting smuggling
across the borders. The visit came within the continuing security
coordination between the two sides, said head of the delegation poiting to
firmness of the Sudanese-Eritrean ties. The visit constitutes great
political support to the two nations, said Chairman of Kassala Legislative
