AVIAREPS has been appointed as General Sales Agent for Eritrean Airlines in South Africa. The team in Johannesburg and Cape Town will ensure a smooth launch phase for Eritrean’s new flight offer to and from South Africa to the Eritrean capital Asmara and beyond. AVIAREPS’ experienced sales and marketing professionals are responsible for the long-term positioning of Eritrea’s national carrier whilst promoting its services and network for passengers departing from both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Starting from May 7th, Eritrean Airlines introduced two new routes. Cape Town International airport and OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg, are being connected to Asmara with four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The flights are being be operated on an Airbus 319 aircraft with state-of-the-art cabins in both Business and Economy class with a comfortable seat pitch of 50 and 34 inches. Friendly staff and gourmet cuisine served in-flight, makes travelling on Eritrean Airlines a pleasant experience.
With Eritrea's strategic location and new hub, Asmara, Eritrean Airlines, has all the necessary ingredients to serve as an effortless "Gateway to Africa”. The network of Eritrean Airlines is currently expanding to further destinations beyond Eritrea such as Jeddah, Karachi, Lahore, Khartoum, Dubai, Rome and Frankfurt.
