Qatar Charity to manage projects in Eastern Sudan

Doha . Qatar will construct a number of development projects in eastern
part of Sudan, as part of the initiative taken to support the Eastern
Sudan Peace Agreement.
An agreement was signed in Khartoum to carry out these projects, which
will be managed by Qatar Charity, Sudan branch.
The projects worth more than QR63m are financed by Qatari government.
Constructed by several companies, the projects are expected to be
completed within one year, Al Sharq reported.
The agreement ceremony was signed by Abdullah Husain Al Ni'mah, the
General Manager of Qatar Charity, in the presence of Qatar's Ambassador
to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Al Hamadi and Dr Mustafa Osman Ismael, Adviser
for the president of Sudan.
The projects will develop Allafah and Telkouk villages and Kasela Road
which is located on the border with Eritrea. The road will connect Sudan
with Eritrea.
