Iran, Eritrea should promote cooperation
Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA
Iran's Minister of Finance Shamseddin Hosseini said on Monday that Iran
and Eritrea should upgrade cooperation which is currently at low level.
At the joint press conference with his Eritrean counterpart Berhane
Abrehe, Hosseini said that the two sides should pave the way for further
cooperation.
Iran and Eritrea are determined to broaden their relations that would be
in proportionate with their potentials, Hosseini said on the sidelines
of a meeting in which the two sides signed an agreement on supporting
and encouraging the foreign investment.
Iranian finance minister hoped that Tehran-Asmara cooperation would be
strengthened in light of the potentials.
Iran's Export Development Bank is well-prepared to make arrangements for
credit line to support economic cooperation, he added.
Hosseini said that Iran and Eritrea will initially develop cooperation
in wheat, agriculture, oil and cement fields.
The two sides aim at enhancing cooperation in the two countries' private
sectors, Hosseini noted.
